Dantevilles
A fresh-faced, four-piece band emitting new music from the home they call Manchester. Reimaging the sound of the red-brick capital of the North with their uplifting and soulful brand of indie pop, Dantevilles are as sharp as they are raw. Clean, canny guitars and dual captivating vocals never compete for space in their unshakable, off-the-wall arrangements.
“All executed with spitting-cobra precision” NME
“impeccable with its falsetto pitched choruses” - Fred Perry Subculture
“A joyful fusion that is uplifting, intelligent and danceable” Backseat Mafia
Four musicians were striving to form new music and the idea of ‘Dantevilles’ materialised when Jamie, Connor, Paul and Cory became acquainted. Dantevilles moved in together and began writing songs and recording demos. Their first gig was at Night & Day Café, Manchester in October 2014 where attention was immediately drawn.
With the single ‘It Might Be Tomorrow’ selected as Huw Stephens BBC Radio 1 Tip Of The Week and ‘Perfect Place’ collecting Track Of The Week from Radio X, Dantevilles closed a busy festival season with dates supporting Blossoms.
Recently signed with record label ‘Heist Or Hit’, the new single ‘Graffiti’ is due for release Feb 2017 followed by a UK tour.
