Hugo Manuel has been releasing music under the name Chad Valley since 2010. A longtime signee of the influential Cascine Records, Manuel will release his third full-length album in May 2018, following his sophomore album, Entirely New Blue, which saw him traverse the world many times over touring his impressive and mesmerising one-man show.Taking inspiration from his constant touring and nomadic life (the upcoming record was recorded at home in Oxford between tours), the upcoming record is a ode to lost loves, heartbreak and young love… everything that makes pop music pop.
